Job Description
Our long-time pharma communications client has immediate openings for scientific writers/editors. Previous experience in CME or other pharma advertising agency setting is a big plus. Entry Level, post-doc candidates are frequently hired and are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have an advanced biomedical science degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MS), or close to finishing their degree / defending their thesis. Excellent oral and written communications skills are expected.

Role You’ll Play
The agency’s primary focus is Publication Planning which means as a Medical Writer, you’ll be at the leading edge, informing medical professionals about drugs during their development. As a Medical Writer, your responsibilities could include research and writing a variety of print and digital documents covering drugs as they progress through clinical trials.
Speakers’ notes and displays for medical conventions would also part of your writing responsibilities.
A background in neuroscience, oncology, and/or dermatology is advantageous. Also, have several writing samples available when requested (e.g., published manuscripts, slide decks, and scientific posters).
